Therapeutic Services MCHS provided therapeutic services for children and adults. We specialize in helping individuals and families with emotional and behavioral issues that impair daily functioning.
Evidence Base Practice Implication: MCHS uses a variety of Evidence Based Practices, knowing not every client is the same. Interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Family Therapy, Psychoanalytic Analysis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) are used during the therapeutic sessions.
Therapeutic Services Outcomes: Individuals who participate in therapeutic services find our therapeutic methods effective for the treatment of general anxiety disorder, depression, insomnia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental health issues. Clients also learn to cope with out-of-control emotions by using a set of four practical skills: how to be more effective in interpersonal relationships; how to tolerate and accept distressing situations more easily; how to regulate emotions; and how to use mindfulness-based skills to accomplish any of the preceding tasks. Session also help to resolve emotional and behavioral difficulties with that are associated with single, multiple, and complex trauma experiences.
